Cosan expansion plans
Cosan SA Industria & Comercio plans to expand sugar-cane proccessing capacity to between 100 million metric tons and 110 million tons in the next few years, Valor Economico reported, citing Chairman and founder Rubens Ometto.
The company currently crushes 63 million tons, according to the newspaper. Cosan may expand existing plants and acquire or build new ones, Ometto told the Sao Paulo-based newspaper.
