GGB - Gerdau
Gerdau S.A. (NYSE:GGB) is the world’s 14th largest steel maker, with installed annual capacity of 24.8 million metric tons of steel at year end 2007. Its products include agricultural, civil construction and industrial products, as well as specialty steels. Gerdau's activities are divided into five business segments: Long Steel Brazil, Specialty Steel (Brazil and Spain), Acominas (Brazil), South America (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay), and North America (via 65% ownership of Gerdau Ameristeel NYSE:GNA)
